Super Eagles fullback Ola Aina is among the nominees for the 2024-25 Premier League Fan team of the season, following an outstanding campaign with Nottingham Forest.

Ola Aina, 28, has been one of the most consistent fullbacks in the league this season, playing a key role in Nottingham Forest’s push for Champions League football.

The Nigerian international has made 34 league starts, contributing two goals and one assist, while also delivering solid defensive performances week in, week out.

Ola Aina has been nominated alongside several standout fullbacks in the league including Rayan Ait-Nouri (Wolves), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Marc Cucurella (Chelsea), Josko Gvardiol (Man City), Milos Kerkez (AFC Bournemouth); Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace), Antonee Robinson (Fulham); Djed Spence (Spurs), and Aaron Wan-Bissaka (West Ham).

Asides from fullbacks, fans can also pick a best XI from a shortlist of 60 players who starred across the campaign. All 20 Premier League clubs have at least one representative on the list.

Six other Nottingham Forest players were nominated with Aina, including Anthony Elanga, Morgan Gibbs-White, Nikola Milenkovic, Murillo, Mats Sels and Chris Wood.

The players with the highest number of public votes in each position will be selected for the official 2024/25 Premier League Fans Team of the Season, with no more than four players allowed from any single club.

Fans have until Friday, 29 May to select their team. The official 2024/25 Premier League Fan Team of the Season will then be unveiled shortly after voting closes.
