Maduka Okoye delivered another standout performance as Udinese secured a stunning 3-0 victory over AC Milan at the San Siro on Sunday.

The Nigerian international recorded his third consecutive clean sheet in Serie A, taking his tally to eight this season and underlining his growing influence for Udinese in an impressive campaign.

Udinese, managed by Kosta Runjaic, showed composure and clinical edge throughout, registering only their second run of three straight clean sheets in the Italian top flight under the German coach.

The visitors broke the deadlock in the 27th minute through an unfortunate moment for Milan. Nicolo Zaniolo surged forward before setting up Arthur Atta, whose effort was turned into his own net by Davide Bartesaghi.

Zaniolo continued to trouble Milan’s defence, playing a key role in the second goal just 10 minutes later. His cross found Jurgen Ekkelenkamp, who powered a header in off the post to double Udinese’s lead.

Milan nearly responded early in the second half, but Okoye produced a superb save to tip Alexis Saelemaekers’ half-volley onto the crossbar.

Any hopes of a comeback were ended in the 71st minute when Ekkelenkamp released Atta, who finished calmly past Mike Maignan to seal the win.

Despite tactical changes from head coach Massimiliano Allegri, Milan failed to respond as Udinese secured their second victory at San Siro this season.

The result also marked a notable milestone for Udinese, who have now beaten both Milan clubs away in the same Serie A season for only the second time.

Milan remain third on 63 points, nine behind leaders Inter, while Udinese climb to 10th with 43 points.
