Nigerians Jordan Nwora, Chima Moneke, Semi Ojeleye, and Ebuka Izundu combined for an impressive 52 points to lead Crvena Zvezda to a commanding 90–75 victory over Real Madrid in their EuroLeague Matchday Five encounter on Friday.

Nwora spearheaded the charge with 18 points, five rebounds, and three assists, while Moneke followed closely with 15 points and seven rebounds. Ojeleye added 13 points and four rebounds, and Izundu contributed six points and two rebounds in the team’s dominant display.

Codi Miller-McIntyre also starred with 18 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists, while Nikola Kalinić chipped in 10 points, seven rebounds, and five assists as the Serbian champions cruised to their third win in five games this season.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, delivered a lackluster performance. Former Orlando Magic forward Trey Lyles led the Spanish side with 16 points, eight rebounds, and three assists off the bench, while Mario Hezonja added 15 points and Trey Lyles contributed 11 points.

The defeat marked Real Madrid’s second loss of the EuroLeague campaign, while the win lifted Crvena Zvezda to ninth place in the standings out of 20 teams.

Nwora, Moneke, Ojeleye, and Izundu – all summer signings – have made a strong impact since joining the Serbian giants and will be looking to propel Crvena Zvezda into the playoffs by season’s end.
