Nigerian footballer, John Mikel Obi, has revealed that he recently underwent surgery at the Princess Grace Hospital in the United Kingdom.
The football star shared this information through photos posted on his Instagram story on Saturday. However, he did not disclose the nature of the surgery.
Sharing a picture he took before the operation, he wrote, “Pre-op, let’s go.” Another picture of him lying on the bed at the hospital post-surgery was captioned, “All good, #PostOp.”
This is not the first time Obi has undergone surgery. In April 2017, he was reported to have had a successful operation in the UK, after which he began rehabilitation for proper recovery.
