Former Super Eagles striker Michael Eneramo has passed away at the age of 40 after collapsing during a training match in Kaduna, Bold Sports reports.
Eneramo, who earned 10 caps for the Super Eagles between 2009 and 2011, reportedly slumped while playing football with friends on Friday. Eyewitnesses say efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.

After beginning his career with Lobi Stars F.C., he went on to play for Espérance Sportive de Tunis. He later spent six seasons in Turkey, featuring for clubs including Sivasspor, Beşiktaş J.K., Kardemir Karabükspor, İstanbul Başakşehir F.K., and Manisaspor.
He returned to Tunisia in 2018 for another spell with Espérance before concluding his playing career with Cypriot side Türk Ocağı Limasol S.K..
