Kun Khalifat FC have officially elevated highly rated youngster Anietie John to their senior squad ahead of the decisive stretch of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The Owerri-based side confirmed the development in a club statement, announcing that the promising midfielder has also signed his first professional contract.
“KUN KHALIFAT FC is delighted to announce that John has been promoted from KUN Khalifat Academy. The young talented midfielder signed a two-year contract. Anietie John will now be part of the first team participating in the 2025/2026 NPFL.”
The promotion represents a significant milestone in the youngster’s career after impressing consistently for the club’s U-19 side this season.
