Kun Khalifat FC have officially elevated highly rated youngster Anietie John to their senior squad ahead of the decisive stretch of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

‎The Owerri-based side confirmed the development in a club statement, announcing that the promising midfielder has also signed his first professional contract.

‎“KUN KHALIFAT FC is delighted to announce that John has been promoted from KUN Khalifat Academy. The young talented midfielder signed a two-year contract. Anietie John will now be part of the first team participating in the 2025/2026 NPFL.”

‎The promotion represents a significant milestone in the youngster’s career after impressing consistently for the club’s U-19 side this season.
