Jordan Nwora recorded a season-high 21 points off the bench to help the Milwaukee Bucks record their 11th win of the season beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 113-98 at the Fiserv Arena on Thursday.
Nwora’s 21 point-game was only bested by Brook Lopez’s 29 points despite having Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis in the starting five. Ginnis managed 16 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists in 32 minutes on the court while Jevon Carter had 11 points four rebounds and eight assists in the win.
Aside scoring 21 points, Nwora had one assist, three rebounds, one steal and one block. He shot 60% field goals, 53% from the three points line and 67% from the free throw line. He also tied his career-high five three pointers made in a single game.
“It was good seeing it fall tonight. I’m not gonna lose confidence in myself because of a couple of bad weeks. I’m happy the shots fell tonight and we got the win,” Nwora said after the game.
Since the start of the season, the Bucks have had players suffered all kinds of injuries which has left the rotation thin. At the moment, Jrue Holiday and Greyson Allen are missing with a sprained right ankle, Wesley Mathews is out with a sprained right hamstring while Khris Middleton, Pat Connaughton and Joe Ingles are yet to feature for the franchise this season due to varying injuries.
