The 2025 Jagaban Cup will take place from March 24 to March 27 at the Legacy Pitch in Lagos, with eight teams competing for the title. European football scouts will be present to identify promising talent.
“On March 24, we will kick off with four matches at Legacy Pitch,” Tournament Director Wale Joseph said. “Day two will also feature four matches at the same venue, followed by another four games on the third day. Notably, the tournament will implement a no offside rule.”
Joseph said matches on March 24, 25, and 26 will run from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be no semi-finals, as the winners of each group will advance directly to the final.

“This event is designed to provide genuine opportunities for talented players and their teams to make a transition to Europe,” he said.
Group A consists of 36 Lion FC, Ikorodu City FC, FC Bethel Sporting, and Broad City FC, while Group B includes Dino Sporting Club, Imperial Football Club, Ijebu United, and SGFC Athletics.
The tournament is organized in partnership with 36 Lion Investment, Diamond Sports, and Lagos Enigma.
