From promotion battles in England to key league wins in Spain and the Czech Republic, Nigerian players were once again influential for their respective clubs.

ENGLAND – Onyeka helps Coventry edge closer to Premier League return

Frank Onyeka delivered another composed midfield performance as Coventry City played out a 0-0 draw against Sheffield Wednesday, strengthening their push for automatic promotion to the Premier League.

The Nigerian international, who has been instrumental throughout the campaign, was substituted in the 81st minute after helping maintain control in midfield during a tightly contested encounter.

Onyeka has remained a key figure in Coventry’s promotion charge, providing balance, energy, and consistency as the club edges closer to securing a long-awaited return to the top flight.
