Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo will host the second leg of the CHAN qualifying match between the senior B teams of Ghana and Nigeria.
Ghana will host the first leg of the qualifiers on Saturday, December 21, 2024, with the return leg scheduled between December 27-29, 2024. The winner over two legs will automatically qualify for the tournament.
Nigeria failed to secure a spot in the previous edition as they lost to Ghana in the final qualifying match via a tense penalty-shootout. However, the Super Eagles B team will be all out for revenge as they hope to qualify for the 2024 African Nations Championship.
The 2024 CHAN tournament will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania from February 1-28, 2025, marking the first time in CAF history that a tournament is jointly hosted by three nations.
