Los Angeles Lakers and D’Tigers guard Gabe Vincent will miss yet another game for the Lakers, sitting out their Saturday night matchup against the Toronto Raptors (Sunday morning in Nigeria).
Vincent, a former Miami Heat player, hasn’t played since the Lakers’ October 31st win over the Orlando Magic, sidelined by a nagging knee injury. Initially expected to miss just seven games, he’s now on track for his 17th straight absence.
While optimistically penciled in for a return against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, even that seems unlikely. His extended absence has allowed young guns Cam Reddish and Max Christie to see more playing time.
Vincent joined the Lakers this summer on a three-year, $33 million deal after impressing with the Heat, where he started his career as a two-way player before earning a full contract.

The Lakers will hope Vincent can return to action as soon as possible as they have been suffering a backlog of injuries.
The Lakers on November 16 revealed that the player would be reevaluated and miss a further two weeks but there have been no updates as regards a return date.
