D’Tigers captain, Gabe Nnamdi Vincent, scored 17 points and provided two assists in 24 minutes from the bench but it was not enough as the Miami Heat fell to their second consecutive loss of the 2022/23 campaign 111-104 to high-flying Boston Celtics.
Shooting guard, Tyler Herro led the Florida side with 25 points while centre Bam Adebayo contributed 19 points with Jimmy Butler posting 18 points while starting point guard Kyle Lowry aded 17 points but they couldn’t hold the firepower of the Celtics stars – Jayson Tatum (29 points) and Jaylen Brown (29 points).
Vincent who was impressive in the game shot 7-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt. Vincent only scored two points in their season opener against the Chicago Bulls on Thursday.
Vincent and the Heat would be hoping to bounce back from the loss against the Toronto Raptors when both sides clash at the FXT Arena on Sunday.
