Super Eagles defender Emmanuel Fernandez has been named in the PFA Scotland Premiership Team of the Year following an outstanding debut season with Rangers F.C, Boldsports report.
The recognition reflects his strong impact since arriving from Peterborough United during the summer transfer window.
Fernandez has played a vital role in Rangers’ campaign this season. The centre-back has scored five league goals while helping the team keep 12 clean sheets. He has also featured in recent matches, maintaining defensive stability and contributing during attacking set-pieces, underlining his importance at both ends of the pitch.
After a slow start, the 24-year-old quickly adapted to life in Scottish football. He became a regular starter under manager Danny Röhl and developed into one of the team’s most consistent performers.
