NBA superstar Luka Doncic and Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick have hailed the impact of D’Tiges guard Gabe Vincent in their 113-109 hard-fought overtime win over a resilient New York Knicks side led by Jalen Brunson.

The Lakers staged an impressive comeback, overcoming a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter to force overtime before outscoring the Knicks 14-10 to secure the win.

Doncic and LeBron James combined for 63 points in the win with Doncic grabbing 32, 12 assists and seven rebounds while LeBron added 31 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists in the win.

Despite scoring 12 points in 22 minutes, Vincent’s performance went beyond the stat sheet. His clutch shooting and defensive intensity proved crucial in the Lakers’ late-game surge. The D’Tigers star knocked down three pivotal three-pointers in the fourth quarter, helping to keep his team in the game.

“I think Gabe won us the game with those 3 3s in the 4th quarter. That’s how we got the energy up,” Doncic said after the game.

The 28-year-old was also hailed by head coach JJ Redick for his fourth quarter performance, the bedrock of their comeback.

“A night like tonight, when it felt like a lot of things didn’t go our way and it wasn’t easy, it often can come from your non-stars. I think Jaxson’s defense in the second half, Gabe’s shotmaking. We don’t win this game without Gabe’s four 3s,” Redick said.
