Emmanuel Dennis has been named Watford’s Player of The Month for November while his goal against Leicester City has been named the club’s Goal of The Month for November.
The Nigeria international who has enjoyed a great start to life in the English Premier League for the Hornets since joining the newcomers from Belgian giants Club Brugge in the summer, scored two goals while providing two assists in November.
Dennis’ performance saw him beat Joshua King, Leanne Bell, and Anne Meiwald in the supporters poll.
The tricky forward’s clever and composed finished in the Hornets 4-2 loss to Leicester City on November 28 was selected as the goal of the month ahead of strikes from King, Bell, Emma Beckett, João Pedro and Ismaïla Sarr.
A calm Dennis after dispossessing Leicester’s defender faked the onrushing Kasper Schmeichel before cleverly chipping the ball over him for their second goal of the game.
The 24-year-old had previously won the club’s goal of the month for November.
His performance has not gone unnoticed having been nominated for the Premier League’s Player of The Month for the November award along with Manchester City duo Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva, Liverpool duo Trent Alexander-Arnold and Diogo Jota as well as Aston Villa’s John McGinn.
