…Chukwueze has 7 goals contribution in 10 EPL games
Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze has revealed the words of encouragement from Fulham manager Marco Silva that inspired his impactful performance in the club’s 2–1 comeback victory over Brighton in Saturday’s English Premier League clash at Craven Cottage.
The Nigeria international recently returned to club action after spending over four weeks on international duty with the Super Eagles at the just-concluded Africa Cup of Nations, alongside teammates Alex Iwobi and defensive stalwart Calvin Bassey.
Fulham found themselves trailing after Yasin Ayari’s 28th-minute opener for Brighton, prompting Silva to make a crucial tactical change in the 59th minute by introducing Chukwueze in place of Kevin.
The substitution proved decisive, as the Nigerian winger injected pace and creativity that shifted the momentum of the contest.Chukwueze drew Fulham level in the 72nd minute, calmly slotting the ball into the net after a superb pass from centre-back Joachim Andersen.

Harry Wilson then sealed the dramatic turnaround with a 92nd-minute winner to secure maximum points for the hosts.
Speaking after the match, Chukwueze expressed his delight at contributing to the victory and disclosed what Silva told him before he came on.
“I am so happy for the team and also for my goal,” Chukwueze said. “We needed that win. It was tough to come back, so it was a very good game for us.
“The manager told me to do what I can do best. Everything worked out today. It was a fantastic pass from Andersen, and I have to give him credit when I get into the dressing room.

”The winger also praised match-winner Harry Wilson, whose late strike sparked wild celebrations inside the stadium.
“Harry Wilson is in the form of his life. He deserves it. He has been incredible throughout the season.
”Chukwueze has impressed since joining Fulham on a season-long loan from Italian giants AC Milan last summer, registering three goals and four assists in 10 Premier League appearances for the Cottagers.
