Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has vowed to showcase an enhanced version of himself to AC Milan fans when the 2024/25 Serie A season commences in three weeks.
The Nigerian speedster has dazzled Rossoneri supporters during pre-season, delivering standout performances on the flanks. His most recent masterclass came in Milan’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Manchester City at Yankee Stadium, where he contributed two assists.
Chukwueze’s impressive displays have ignited hopes of a breakout campaign after failing to fully realize his potential since joining the club from Villarreal for €20 million.
Under the guidance of new manager Paulo Fonseca, the 25-year-old appears to have blossomed into a more complete player. Following the Manchester City friendly, he praised the coach for his immediate faith and promised fans a new and improved version of himself.
“I love the new coach, he gave me a chance right away and it’s important when someone gives you confidence. I tell the fans that they will see a new Samu this year,” Chukwueze stated.
