Nigerian Paralympian Bolaji Eniola has announced GIG Logistics as her official sponsor as she begins preparations for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games, Bold Sports reports.

Eniola, currently ranked third in the world in the SL3 Para Badminton category by the Para World Badminton Federation, revealed that the partnership will see GIG Logistics provide training kits, travel support, and cover her participation in three major championships each year for the next four years.

“I am proud to announce that GIG Logistics is my official sponsor as I prepare for the LA 2028 Paralympics,” Eniola wrote on her official X page. “This powerful partnership ensures that GIG Logistics will support me at three major championships each year for the next four years, providing essential training kits and travel assistance.”

“I am fully motivated and ready to pursue my goals with GIG Logistics backing me, and I am excited to turn this vision into reality,” she concluded.

Eniola made history at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, becoming the first African to win a medal in badminton at either the Olympics or Paralympics after claiming bronze in the women’s SL3 singles. Her remarkable feat also secured Nigeria’s first medal at the Paris Paralympics.

The LA28 Paralympic Games is scheduled to take place from August 15 to 27, 2028, in Los Angeles, California — marking the city’s first time of hosting the event in 32 years.

With this new partnership, Eniola will now set her sights on building momentum ahead of the tournament as she continues to inspire a new generation of para-badminton players across Africa.
