Newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League side, Barau FC, have appointed former Nigeria U-20 coach, Isah Ladan Bosso, as their new Technical Adviser ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The club announced the agreement with the veteran tactician on Thursday, as they prepare for their maiden campaign in the Nigerian topflight.
“Barau FC has announced that it has reached an agreement to appoint Coach Ladan Bosso as the club’s new Technical Adviser ahead of the 2025/2026 football season. Details of his contract and official unveiling will be communicated in due course,” club media officer Ahmad Gwale shared via X.

Barau FC earned promotion to the NPFL after a strong showing at the Nigeria National League Super 6 in Asaba, joining fellow promoted sides Warri Wolves, Wikki Tourists, and Kun Khalifat.
Bosso brings with him nearly two decades of coaching experience across both domestic clubs and the national team setup. He began his coaching career with Kano Pillars in 2011 and has since handled teams such as Wikki Tourists, Bayelsa United, Abia Warriors, and El-Kanemi Warriors. He last managed Bayelsa United in 2024.
His immediate task at Barau FC will be to guide the newcomers toward a solid performance and ensure they retain their NPFL status at the end of the season.
