Fresh reports on Tuesday indicate that Atalanta are fully aware of Ademola Lookman’s current location, despite the Super Eagles forward being absent from training for an entire week.
Lookman has not attended Atalanta training sessions since August 4, a stance believed to be in protest over the club’s rejection of Inter’s bid — a decision that goes against the player’s wishes.
The Nigerian international is understood to have reached an agreement in principle with Inter on personal terms. However, the Nerazzurri have yet to persuade Atalanta to part ways with the 27-year-old, with the Bergamo side determined not to strengthen a direct Serie A rival.
It was reported on Monday night that Lookman has been in London over the past week, following Atalanta’s refusal of Inter’s €45 million offer, including bonuses. Meanwhile, Inter Milan have also remained on standby, awaiting a signal from La Dea before making their next move in the ongoing transfer talks.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Atalanta are informed about the winger’s movements. The report adds that Lookman has been training personally, albeit with a clear intention of pushing through a move to Inter.
The Italian daily also notes that Inter are holding back until they receive an updated valuation from Atalanta, which will determine their next step in the pursuit.
While La Gazzetta dello Sport suggested on Monday that Inter were ready to abandon the chase, several other outlets, including Corriere dello Sport, maintain that the reigning African Player of the Year remains the club’s top transfer target this summer.
