Alex Oweilayefa has extended his contract with Bendel Insurance until 2029, committing his long-term future to the Nigeria Premier Football League club after an impressive breakthrough season.
The 19-year-old striker earned the new deal after a standout campaign with the Benin Arsenal. Oweilayefa scored 10 goals in 21 NPFL appearances during the 2025/26 season, establishing himself as one of the league’s most promising young forwards. His goals played a key role in Bendel Insurance’s attacking success throughout the campaign.
