Montpellier will miss the presence of Nigerian striker Akor Adams due to a back injury, while his compatriot Gift Orban aims to make his mark in Ligue 1 as Olympique Lyon comes to Stade de la Mosson today.
Adams initially impressed in Ligue 1, scoring seven goals in his first 10 appearances, but has since endured a goal drought, failing to find the net in the subsequent nine games. Unfortunately, his absence will extend to Lyon’s visit due to the same injury that kept him out of the team’s recent loss to Stade Rennais.
On the other hand, Gift Orban, who recently scored his maiden Lyon goal in a 2-1 French Cup victory over Lille, seeks to continue his scoring form against Montpellier. The promising Orban, acquired during the January transfer window, is gradually winning over Lyon’s supporters, with increased minutes on the field in recent matches.
