Mateo Retegui added a third goal in the 92nd minute to seal the deal for Atalanta.
Lookman’s impressive form continues, with his goal tally for the season now at six in eight league games. He has been directly involved in 27 goals (16 goals, 11 assists) in all competitions in 2024, making him the most influential player in Serie A.
Reacting to the win on DAZN, Atalanta’s manager, Gian Piero Gasperini hailed the performance of his forwards “We have great attacking players and clearly they are a step above at the moment. We cannot always play with all three together, especially with so many games close together, so they can be decisive off the bench too.
This victory lifts Atalanta to second place in the Serie A table, just three points behind Napoli.
