Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has been crowned Atalanta’s Player of the Year for the 2023/24 season, capping off a remarkable campaign for the Italian club.
The 26-year-old is winning the award for the second season in a row after also clinching it last season.
Lookman’s outstanding performances throughout the year were instrumental in Atalanta’s success, with the striker contributing significantly in both domestic and European competitions.
The highlight of Lookman’s season came in the Europa League final, where he netted a spectacular hat-trick to help the club win their first-ever European club trophy.
Ademola Lookman scored 11 goals and provided eight assists in the Italian Serie A as Atalanta finished fourth on the league table.
The club announced Lookman as the winner of the award on their X page (formerly Twitter) and website on Thursday.
Brazilian midfielder Éderson finished while Dutch midfielder Teun Koopmeiners was named third.
