Chelsea academy graduate and Super Eagles-eligible forward Tyrique George has completed a permanent move to Everton after signing a four-year contract with the Premier League club, Boldsports report.
The 20-year-old joins the Toffees for an undisclosed fee, bringing an end to a 12-year spell at Stamford Bridge after first joining the Blues as an eight-year-old.
George earned a permanent deal after impressing during his loan spell in the second half of the 2025/26 season. The England Under-21 international featured in 11 Premier League matches for Everton and quickly became part of David Moyes’ squad. Before leaving Chelsea, He also contributed to the club’s UEFA Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup triumphs, highlighting his growing experience at the highest level.
The London-born attacker, who is eligible to represent Nigeria through his father, expressed his excitement after completing the transfer.
”I’m so happy to sign for Everton. I loved my time here on loan last season, so as soon as I knew it was a possibility to return, that’s always what I wanted.

”This is a massive club. I’ve seen for myself how passionate the fans are about Everton, how much it means to them – and I want to put on good performances, score goals, and create goals to make them happy.”
George also praised the welcome he received after arriving on loan.
”The fans and the boys in the changing room made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived in February. It’s a strong group that’s only going to get better.
”I’m excited for what is ahead for us as a group and club.”
George progressed through Chelsea’s academy before making his senior debut during the 2024/25 campaign. He featured in 12 of the club’s 13 UEFA Conference League matches as the Blues lifted the trophy and later added a FIFA Club World Cup winners’ medal.
Looking ahead to the new season, the forward believes Everton offers the ideal environment to continue his development.
”There is a lot more to come from me and with the manager, the coaches and my teammates, I know I’m in a great place to show it.

”To be in for the start of pre-season is something I was keen on. Now I’m really excited to get going again.”
Everton manager David Moyes believes George has the qualities to continue improving after making a positive impression during his loan spell.

George’s arrival strengthens Everton’s attacking options ahead of the new campaign, while the move also keeps another Super Eagles-eligible player firmly on the radar as he continues his Premier League development.
