Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has received major recognition after earning a place in the Women’s Super League Team of the Season released by WhoScored on Monday.
The Nigerian international impressed throughout her first season with Brighton & Hove Albion Women after joining the club from Paris FC last summer. Brighton finished seventh in the league standings, with Nnadozie playing a key role between the posts.
The 25-year-old produced several important displays during the campaign. She kept six clean sheets in 19 league appearances.

Her performances helped Brighton remain competitive throughout the season and secured her recognition alongside some of the league’s biggest stars.
Manchester City Women had the highest number of players in the Team of the Season with six representatives. The selected players include Kerstin Casparij, Alex Greenwood, Vivianne Miedema, Kerolin, Lauren Hemp and Khadija Shaw.
Arsenal Women contributed two players, while Brighton, Aston Villa and Chelsea Women each had one representative in the final lineup.
Nnadozie will now focus on ending the season with silverware when Brighton face Manchester City in the Women’s FA Cup final at Wembley on May 31.
The final presents another opportunity for the Nigerian goalkeeper to crown an impressive debut season in England with a major trophy.
