Ranchers Bees have become the fourth and final club to seal their promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) for the 2026/27 season.
The Kaduna-Based side joins Sporting Lagos, Inter Lagos, and Doma United as the sides that will move up from the Nigeria National League (NNL) to the top flight.
Ranchers Bees secured their spot in the NPFL despite a 2-0 loss to Gombe United at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe on Wednesday.

Despite the result, The Bees finished top of Conference D with 20 points. It marks a historic milestone for the club, who return to the NPFL after 18 years away.
It also represents a special moment for the club’s owners. Amongst them is Super Eagles striker Sadiq Umar who currently plays in Spain with Valencia.
The Nigerian International in partnership with House of Representatives member for Kaduna North, Hon. Bello El-Rufai, completed the acquisition of the club in August 2025.

Just over seven months later, the ownership group have fulfilled their promise, leading the return of the historic club to the NPFL.
