Jordan Nwora delivered a Most Valuable Player performance, pouring in a game-high 23 points to propel Crvena Zvezda to a 108–99 victory over Vienna in an ABA League clash on Monday night at the Aleksandar Nikolić Hall in Belgrade, Bold Sports reports.
Crvena Zvezda, who have been in fine form in recent weeks, dominated the first half, outscoring Vienna 34–23 in the opening quarter and 26–24 in the second to take firm control of the contest. Vienna responded strongly after the break, edging the hosts 22–21 in the third quarter and 30–27 in the fourth, but the first-half deficit proved too much to overturn.
Nwora, who started alongside Semi Ojeleye, Yago Santos, Ognjen Dobrić and Joel Bolomboy, finished with 23 points, three assists and one rebound. Dobrić added 16 points, Santos contributed 15, while Ebuka Izundu, Stefano Miljenović and Dejan Davidovac chipped in 11 points apiece.

Vienna, on the other hand, turned in an impressive showing, with four starters finishing in double figures. Souley Boum led the way with 21 points, Hunter Sammy added 19, Gregor Glas scored 18, Darko Bajo recorded 12, and Lovre Runjić finished with 10 points.
The win makes it six consecutive victories for Crvena Zvezda in all competitions – three in the ABA League and three in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
They currently sit third on the ABA League standings with an 11–3 record and are 10th in the EuroLeague table with 14 wins and 10 losses from 24 games.Crvena Zvezda will look to extend their resurgence when they return to EuroLeague action against Dubai Basketball, who currently sit 12th on the standings.
