Daniel Oturu delivered an impressive performance as Hapoel Tel Aviv continued their fine form in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, defeating Red Star Belgrade 84–78 at the Shlomo Group Arena in Tel Aviv.
D’Tigers stars Jordan Nwora and Chima Moneke, alongside Ebuka Izundu and Semi Ojeleye, were aiming to help Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) return to winning ways against the league leaders. However, a Daniel Oturu-inspired Hapoel Tel Aviv were determined to extend their advantage at the top of the table and push their winning streak to three games.
The contest was closely fought from the opening tip, with both sides locked at 21–21 at the end of the first quarter. Hapoel edged the second quarter 19–16, while Red Star responded in the third, narrowly outscoring the hosts 22–21 to keep the game finely balanced. Hapoel Tel Aviv ultimately sealed the victory in the fourth quarter, edging Red Star 23–19 to close out the game at 84–78.

Elijah Bryant led the way for Hapoel with an outstanding all-round display, posting 28 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. Oturu followed with 18 points, seven rebounds, and two assists, while Chris Jones chipped in with 15 points.
For Red Star, Jared Butler starred with 27 points, eight assists, and four rebounds. Codi Miller-McIntyre added 13 points, Jordan Nwora finished with 10 points, Semi Ojeleye also scored 10, while Ebuka Izundu contributed nine points.
The win marked a third consecutive victory for the Israeli side, who remain top of the EuroLeague standings with a 12–4 record after 16 games.
Red Star’s struggles continued, as the defeat was their third in a row, dropping them to eighth place on the table with nine wins and seven losses.
