Super Eagles Group D opponents Tunisia will begin preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on Monday as players continue to arrive at their training camp at the Mohammed VI Football Academy in Salé, Morocco, Bold Sports reports.

The Eagles of Carthage stars began arriving in Morocco on Saturday, with more expected to join on Monday. The team is set to have a full squad in camp and commence training the same day.

Tunisia are drawn in Group C alongside Nigeria, Uganda, and Tanzania. They will open their campaign against the Cranes of Uganda at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium on December 21 before facing the Super Eagles on December 27 and concluding group action against Tanzania on December 30.

Head coach Sami Trabelsi faces the challenging task of restoring Tunisia to its former continental glory. The team has not reached the AFCON semi-finals since finishing fourth at the 2019 edition in Egypt. They were quarter-finalists in 2021 but failed to progress past the group stage at the last edition in Ivory Coast.

The Tunisian squad will use the Morocco camp to fine-tune tactics, integrate new players, and build cohesion ahead of the tournament. With a blend of experienced campaigners and emerging talents, Trabelsi will be aiming to strike the right balance to make a deep run in AFCON 2025.
