Ademola Lookman, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Semi Ajayi, Igho Ogbu, goalkeeper Amas Obasogie, and newly invited Tochukwu Nnadi are the latest players to arrive at the Super Eagles’ camp in Egypt as preparations intensify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025).
Their arrival takes the number of players in camp to eight, joining goalkeepers Francis Uzoho and Stanley Nwabali, who reported earlier on Sunday.
More players are expected to arrive today, with the team set to hold its first official training session in the evening ahead of Tuesday’s preparatory friendly against Egypt at the Cairo International Stadium.

The Pharaohs are still awaiting the arrival of some of their star players, including Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush, although a sizeable number of the squad have already resumed training, with sessions held on Saturday and Sunday.
The Super Eagles have been drawn in Group C of the AFCON alongside Tanzania, Tunisia, and Uganda. The Super Eagles will open their campaign against Tanzania at the Fez Stadium on December 23.
