Daniel Oturu delivered a dominant MVP-level performance, posting a double-double to lead Hapoel Tel Aviv to a 79–74 victory over Citrus Bologna at the SuperTennis Arena – Bologna Fire on Friday night.
Bologna controlled the game through the first three quarters, winning 24–21, 18–15, and 15–14, but the Israeli side turned on the style in the final period, outscoring the hosts 29–17 to seal the win.
Oturu, who started the game, produced a monster outing with 21 points (9-of-10 from two-point range, 3-of-4 from the free-throw line), 10 rebounds, one steal, and one block. Elijah Bryant added a game-high 22 points along with six rebounds.

Vasilije Micić chipped in 12 points, three assists, and two rebounds, while Christopher Jones Jr. contributed 10 points and five assists.
For Bologna, Matt Morgan led with 21 points, while Derrick Alston Jr. and Mouhamet Diouf added 11 points each.
The victory strengthens Hapoel’s hold on the top spot with an 11–4 record through 15 games. Bologna, meanwhile, suffered their seventh loss of the campaign and sit 12th on the log, outside the playoff positions.
