Ikorodu City claim first away win against Wolves, Rangers pip Shooting Stars 1-0

Ikorodu City recorded their first away win of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season with a commanding 2–0 triumph over Warri Wolves in Uzoro on Matchday 12.

First-half goals from Tomisin Adebayo in the 19th minute and Goodluck Anuba on the stroke of halftime sealed the win for the visitors and condemned Wolves to their fourth defeat of the season, their second at home, following an earlier 2–1 loss to Shooting Stars of Ibadan.

The result saw Ikorodu City leapfrog Wolves into third place on the table, while the Delta side dropped from second to fourth after 12 rounds of matches.

Elsewhere, Enugu Rangers edged Shooting Stars 1–0, while Wikki Tourists also secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Niger Tornadoes. Enyimba were held to a goalless draw by Abia Warriors at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

Kano Pillars played out a 0–0 draw against a resilient Bayelsa United, and league leaders Nasarawa United saw their advantage at the top reduced to just one point after being held 1–1 at home by Kwara United.
