Gabe Vincent continued his impressive preseason form for the Los Angeles Lakers, scoring 13 points in their 126–116 victory over the Golden State Warriors, the team’s first preseason win.

The Lakers, who were once again without superstars LeBron James and Luka Dončić for the third consecutive preseason game, found inspiration from Vincent’s performance off the bench.

After missing the opening preseason loss to the Phoenix Suns, Vincent featured in the second game against the Warriors, where he delivered 16 points and five rebounds. In their latest meeting, he again made an impact with 13 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 22 minutes of action.

Austin Reaves led the Lakers in scoring with 21 points, while Rui Hachimura and Dalton Knecht added 16 points each. For the Warriors, Brandin Podziemski posted a game-high 23 points, with Trayce Jackson-Davis and Jonathan Kuminga contributing 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Up next for the Lakers is another preseason matchup against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday.

Vincent is entering his third season with the Lakers after joining from the Miami Heat on a three-year, $33 million deal in 2023.
