Kiki Iriafen’s game-high double-double wasn’t enough as the Washington Mystics fell 81-78 to the Los Angeles Sparks, extending their losing streak to five games.

Iriafen delivered a standout performance, posting a game-high 22 points and 13 rebounds, her 15th double-double of the season, but the Mystics came up just short at the Crypto.com Arena.

Fellow rookie Sonia Citron had a quieter outing with 12 points, three assists, and two rebounds, while centers Shakira Austin and Stefanie Dolson added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

With this latest effort, Iriafen also climbed into the record books, becoming 7th all-time for most 20/10 games by a rookie in WNBA history.

For the Sparks, Dearica Hamby led the charge with a 20-point, 12-rebound double-double, while Kelsey Plum contributed 18 points, seven assists, and four rebounds. Rickea Jackson chipped in 16 points, and Azurá Stevens dominated the glass with 12 rebounds and nine points to secure the win.
