Super Falcons forward Rinsola Babajide is eyeing a debut goal for AS Roma Women when they face Kazakhstan’s Atkobe in the UEFA Women’s Champions League second qualifying round on Wednesday at the Stadion SK Prosek in Prague.
Babajide, who joined Roma in July while on international duty with Nigeria at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, has already featured in a competitive game for the club, a 4-2 win over Ternana Women.
The 27-year-old arrives after a successful stint in Spain with CD Tenerife and previously starred for Liverpool Ladies, where she was named Player of the Season in the 2019/20 campaign.

Babajide will be aiming to make an immediate impact on her debut and help Roma secure a place in the UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage.
The Nigeria international traveled to Prague alongside her Super Falcons teammate Shukrat Oladipo for the crucial qualifier.
