Super Falcons defender Oluwatosin Demehin has signed a contract extension with Galatasaray Women’s Football ahead of the new season.
The former Sunshine Queens and Rivers Angels centre-back joined the Turkish giants last summer, making 26 appearances across domestic and European competitions, and scoring once.
In a statement, the club confirmed the extension, praising her impact in her debut season:
“Our Galatasaray Women’s Football Team has extended the contract of successful football player Oluwatosin Demehin Blessing.

Demehin, one of our key players during our historic Champions League campaign last season, also enjoyed success on the international stage by winning the African Cup of Nations this summer with Nigeria.
We wish Oluwatosin Demehin Blessing a successful new season.”
The 23-year-old was a rock in the heart of the Super Falcons’ defence as they clinched their 10th WAFCON title. She will now look to build on an impressive first year in Turkey as she begins her new chapter with Galatasaray.
