Serie A side Napoli have turned down yet another bid from Galatasaray for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Turkish champions submitted a formal offer worth €70 million on Friday, including verified bank documents to guarantee payment, but Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is insisting on the full €75 million release clause being met.
Sources suggest that the Italian club’s stance is influenced by ongoing interest from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, who have agreed to meet Osimhen’s release clause in full. However, the move has stalled as the Nigerian striker has yet to agree on personal terms, with his preference still strongly in favour of Galatasaray.
The latest proposal marks Galatasaray’s fourth failed attempt to sign Osimhen.

Previous bids, including one structured in five installments to meet the €75 million valuation, were swiftly dismissed by Napoli. Despite direct negotiations between both clubs in recent days, talks have so far failed to yield any breakthrough.
Osimhen’s commitment to Galatasaray remains firm following a stellar loan spell with the club. The 26-year-old scored an impressive 37 goals and provided seven assists last season, earning a clean sweep of individual honours including the Golden Boot, Goal of the Season, and Player of the season awards.
The Nigerian striker played a pivotal role in Galatasaray’s domestic double last season. He fired the club to a third consecutive Turkish Super Lig title and was instrumental in their Turkish Cup triumph, netting twice in the final as Galatasaray defeated Trabzonspor 3-0.

With no agreement yet in place between Galatasaray and Napoli, several top European clubs are monitoring the situation. While Osimhen could consider running down his contract, that option may not align with his ambition to remain at the top level of club football.
