With several Premier League clubs showing strong interest in Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare, Belgian side KRC Genk are reportedly hoping to secure around £25 million for the Nigeria international, according to sources in Belgium, Bold Sports reports.
Arokodare finished the 2024/25 season as the joint top scorer in the Belgian Pro League with 21 goals, making him one of the hottest names in this summer’s transfer market. The 24-year-old has attracted interest from across Europe, with clubs from Turkey, Italy, France, Germany, and England all reportedly keen on his signature.
Fulham and Burnley are the latest Premier League sides to join the race, alongside the likes of Manchester United, Newcastle United, Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş, and Trabzonspor.
Given the calibre of suitors, Genk are optimistic that they can convince interested Premier League teams to meet their £25 million asking price for the prolific forward.

Arokodare is currently valued at €18 million (£15.6 million) by Transfermarkt. He joined Genk from French Ligue 2 side Amiens for €5 million in January 2023, arriving as a replacement for compatriot Paul Onuachu.
Last season, Arokodare scored 21 goals and provided five assists in 40 appearances across all competitions for Genk. In addition to finishing as joint top scorer, he also won the 2025 Ebony Shoe Award, given to the best African player in Belgium.
While Fulham and Burnley are seen as the frontrunners to land the Nigerian striker — both in need of a proven goal scorer ahead of the new season — Genk’s hefty valuation may prove to be a stumbling block for the Premier League sides.
