Juventus have stepped up their pursuit of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, with fresh contact reportedly made over the weekend, according to Italian journalist Gianluca DiMarzio.
The Serie A giants are among several European clubs keen on signing Osimhen and have been actively working to present a convincing project to the Nigerian star with a decision regarding his future expected in the coming weeks.
Strengthening the centre-forward position remains a top priority for Juventus, with both Jonathan David and Osimhen high on their list. Osimhen, in particular, has long been a key target for Igor Tudor’s side, and the club intensified discussions with the striker in recent days.

Juventus are now focused on securing Osimhen’s approval before moving on to salary negotiations and talks with Napoli regarding the striker’s release clause.
While the Bianconeri continue their strong push, they are also still monitoring Jonathan David. The plan is to potentially sign two strikers this summer, with Dusan Vlahovic expected to leave the club.
Meanwhile, Turkish champions Galatasaray remain in the race for Osimhen. The Nigerian forward spent last season on loan with the Istanbul side, who could step up their efforts to bring him back, especially as they are close to parting ways with Alvaro Morata, who is set to join Como.

Losing both Morata and Osimhen would leave a significant gap in their attack, potentially prompting a stronger bid from the Turkish club as they look to compete in three major competitions next season including the Champions League.
Osimhen enjoyed his most prolific campaign in the Turkish Super Lig last season, netting 26 goals and providing five assists in the league, while recording 37 goals and seven assists in 41 games across all competitions.
