Nigeria internationals Kelechi Iheanacho, Chidera Ejuke, and Akor Adams are expected to work under a new manager at Sevilla, with reports confirming that Matías Almeyda has agreed to a three-year deal with the Spanish club.
Sevilla parted ways with manager Francisco Javier García Pimienta in April following a string of four consecutive defeats. Club veteran Joaquín Caparrós stepped in to oversee the team for the remainder of the season.
According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Sevilla have now finalised terms with Matias Almeyda, a former Argentine international, to take over the reins ahead of the new campaign.

“Matías Almeyda agrees to become new head coach at Sevilla on an initial three-year contract,” Romano posted. “Agreement done and contracts set to be signed despite links with Italian clubs, as @CLMerlo reports,” Fabrizio posted on X.
For Ejuke, Iheanacho, and Adams, Almeyda’s arrival could mark a turning point. Ejuke showed flashes of brilliance before injury disrupted his season, while Iheanacho and Adams struggled to find form and consistency.
All three players will be hoping for a fresh start and more opportunities under the incoming manager as Sevilla aim to rebuild for the upcoming La Liga season.
