Phoenix Suns forward Josh Okogie made a return to the court after missing the first seven games of the season. In his five minutes of action, he contributed six points to the Suns’ 114-113 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

The D’Tigers forward had been out of action due to a hamstring injury he suffered during the preseason.

Okogie’s highlight play was a one-handed dunk over Daniel Gafford. He also knocked down a three-pointer and a free throw.

Kevin Durant led the Suns with 26 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Royce O’Neale scored 18 points, Tyus Jones had 17, and Devin Booker recorded a double-double with 13 points and 12 assists.

Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 30 points, while Kyrie Irving added 29 and Naji Marshall finished with 18.

With this win, the Suns extended their winning streak to six games and improved to 7-1 on the season, currently leading the Western Conference. As Okogie continues to regain his rhythm, he’ll aim for increased playing time in the upcoming games.
