Ghana held England to a goalless draw in their 2026 FIFA World Cup Group L fixture at Boston Stadium on Tuesday, edging them closer to the knockout stage.

The Black Stars had secured a 1-0 victory over Panama in their opening match, and kept a clean sheet for the second consecutive game to claim an impressive result against the Three Lions.

England totally dominated possession during the first half but failed to register any shot on target as Ghana defended resiliently in numbers, keeping the scores level.

The Three Lions only came close to scoring twice in the first 45 minutes, both through Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice who hit a powerful effort over the bar in the 14th minute, before his header went over the top once again in the 37th minute.

England’s star striker Harry Kane was caged throughout the half, only managing to have a sniff of goal on the cusp of halftime when his shot was blocked.
