Nigerian Super Eagles stars Gift Orban and Victor Boniface are set to face off against Premier League giants Arsenal in separate pre-season friendlies ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
Gift Orban is set to represent Olympique Lyonnais as they take on the Gunners in the 2024 Emirates Cup on August 11 at the Emirates Stadium, while Victor Boniface is expected to be part of the Bayer Leverkusen preseason squad that clashes with Arsenal on August 7, also at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal confirmed a series of preseason fixtures on their official website, in addition to the games against Lyon and Leverkusen. The Gunners will also face Manchester United at SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles, and Liverpool at Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia.
“On Sunday, August 11 at 2pm, our men’s first team will welcome French Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais in this year’s Emirates Cup,” the statement from the Gunners read in part.

Both Nigerian players will be looking to use these preseason games to get match-fit ahead of the upcoming 2024/25 season.
