Daniel Oturu and Jordan Nwora combined for 43 points to power Anadolu Efes to a 94–87 victory over Besiktas in Game 3 of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi semifinals on Tuesday.
Anadolu set the tone early, taking control from the opening tip and winning the first three quarters 26–22, 25–21, and 27–22. Despite being outscored 22–16 in the final period, their dominant early performance was enough to secure the win.
Oturu led all scorers with a game-high 22 points, along with five rebounds and an assist. Nwora, coming off the bench, contributed 19 points and four rebounds, while captain Shane Larkin added a double-double with 18 points, 10 assists, and three rebounds.
The victory gives Anadolu a 2–1 lead in the best-of-five series, placing them one win away from reaching the finals, where they would face defending champions Fenerbahce, who advanced with a 3–0 sweep of Bahçeşehir Koleji.

Nwora’s return was a significant boost after missing Sunday’s 97–70 blowout loss to Besiktas. His presence was felt immediately as Anadolu bounced back with poise and urgency.
Anadolu will aim to close out the series on Thursday, but with little recovery time before a potential finals clash against a well-rested and formidable Fenerbahce side.
Reacting to the win and his performance, Jordan Nwora expressed satisfaction at being able to help the team and voiced optimism ahead of their next game.
“It felt good to find our rhythm again after the loss in the last game, and I’m happy I was able to contribute to the win,” Nwora said. “Our next game is going to be crucial, and we’ll do everything it takes to get the win and reach the finals.”
Oturu, Nwora have been one of Anadolu Efes’ best players this season, both in the league and the EuroLeague.
