Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly entered talks with Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal over a blockbuster, big-money move to the Gulf nation.

Osimhen enjoyed a highly successful loan spell at Galatasaray, scoring 36 goals and providing eight assists in 40 appearances across all competitions. His prolific form helped the Istanbul-based side secure back-to-back domestic league titles.

The Nigerian international has been at odds with his parent club Napoli and is widely expected to leave this summer. Premier League giants such as Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea have all been linked with a move for the 26-year-old.

Italian heavyweights Juventus also expressed strong interest in bringing Osimhen to Turin, especially with Dusan Vlahovic expected to depart at the end of the season. However, reports indicate that Osimhen turned down their proposal.

According to the latest updates, Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal are in active discussions to sign the Nigerian striker. The club is reportedly seeking a marquee forward following Neymar’s departure in January, and Osimhen is seen as a perfect fit for their ambitions.

In recent years, Al Hilal have made a concerted effort to attract top European talent in a bid to elevate the Saudi League’s global profile. Notable names who have joined the club include Kalidou Koulibaly, João Cancelo, Sergej Milinković-Savić, Yassine Bounou, Ruben Neves, and Aleksandar Mitrović.

Despite the lucrative appeal of the Saudi League, it is widely believed that former Lille striker’s ultimate dream has always been to play in the Premier League, which could influence his decision in the coming weeks.
