Victor Osimhen has reportedly opened talks with both Liverpool and Manchester United as he eyes a long-awaited move to the Premier League.
The Nigeria international recently rejected a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League, making it clear that his top priority is a switch to England this summer. Despite interest from Saudi giants Al-Hilal—who were ready to activate his £63 million release clause—the 26-year-old is determined to prove himself in one of Europe’s top leagues.
According to TBR Football, both Liverpool and United have engaged Osimhen’s camp in initial conversations, with serious interest brewing on both sides.

While Liverpool are still monitoring Newcastle’s Alexander Isak, Osimhen has emerged as a strong alternative to lead the Reds’ attack. For United, Osimhen fits perfectly as the spearhead of a restructured forward line, with Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo also in the picture.
Osimhen enjoyed a stellar season with Galatasaray on loan from Napoli, scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances, winning the league in the process and was named Player of the Year. That impressive form has caught the eye of several top clubs, with both Liverpool and United keen to bring him to the Premier League.
Although Chelsea had shown early interest, their pursuit of Osimhen has cooled, leaving Liverpool and United in a two-horse race. Napoli, who are looking to secure a substantial fee for their star striker, are open to negotiations, but will demand more than £50 million for a permanent deal.

Osimhen’s commitment to moving to England is clear, as he turned down an approach from Saudi Arabia despite their willingness to meet his release clause. Sources have confirmed to TBR Football that while the Saudi Pro League may return for him later in the summer, Osimhen’s focus remains on a Premier League move.
With over 100 goals in Europe’s top leagues, the forward’s experience and goalscoring ability make him one of the most sought-after talents in the transfer market. Osimhen’s wage demands have been a topic of discussion, but sources suggest he doesn’t consider them excessive, and a Premier League move remains very much on the cards.
