Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is targeting a move to the Premier League or Juventus when his loan spell at Galatasaray ends this summer, according to reports.

The 26-year-old has been in top form in Turkey, scoring 28 goals in 32 matches this season after joining Galatasaray on loan from Napoli. However, the deal does not include a purchase option, and Osimhen is expected to leave once the campaign ends.

ESPN reports that the Nigerian forward is keen on a switch to England or a return to Italy with Juventus, and that Galatasaray have no option to sign him permanently.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are among Premier League clubs in search of a striker ahead of next season. While Osimhen has previously been linked with Chelsea and remains on United’s shortlist, the report suggests he is no longer a top priority for the Red Devils due to his wage demands.

Osimhen is expected to command a salary of around €11 million per year after tax, and United are said to be working to reduce their wage bill this summer.

Instead, Ipswich Town forward Liam Delap has moved ahead of Osimhen on United’s list, with the 22-year-old reportedly available for £40 million if Ipswich are relegated and would cost significantly less in wages.

Despite that, Osimhen remains one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe, with a €65 million release clause and a scoring record that includes more than a goal every two games during his four years at Napoli.

Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyökeres and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko are also attracting interest this summer. Arsenal have been linked with both, while Chelsea are monitoring Delap as well.

Osimhen, who helped Napoli win the Serie A title in 2023 and was named CAF Player of the Year, is expected to be at the centre of one of the transfer window’s biggest moves.
