Ime Udoka’s Houston Rockets fired on all cylinders to defeat the Golden State Warriors 115–107, forcing a decisive Game 7 in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
The Rockets had previously kept their playoff hopes alive with a 131–116 win in Game 5, setting up a high-stakes Game 6 at the Chase Center. The Warriors needed a victory to close out the series 4–2, but the Rockets proved too hot to handle, especially in a dominant fourth quarter.
Udoka’s men started strong, edging the first two quarters 25–21 and 28–27. Golden State fought back in the third, winning it 36–33 to narrow the deficit. However, the Rockets exploded in the fourth quarter with a 20–5 run that sealed the game. The Warriors struggled to match Houston’s physicality, particularly as Udoka deployed a powerful frontcourt duo of Alperen Şengün and Steven Adams.

Fred VanVleet led the charge with 29 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. Şengün followed with 21 points, 14 rebounds, and six assists, while Adams added 17 points. Amen Thompson contributed 14 points, and Jalen Green chipped in with 12.
Stephen Curry finished with 29 points, seven rebounds, and two assists for the Warriors, while Jimmy Butler added 27 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists.
Game 7 will be held in Houston, where the Rockets will have home-court advantage as they aim to become only the 14th team in NBA history to come back from a 3–1 series deficit and win.
