Nigerian midfielder Francis Ezeh continued his stellar form for Keçiörengücü, scoring in his third consecutive game as his side drew 2-2 with Erokspor in a thrilling Turkish first league clash.

Francis Ezeh’s consistent form earned him a starting spot in the game, as Keçiörengücü aimed to extend their impressive run of form, having lost only one game in their previous seven matches. However, they faced a formidable opponent in Erokspor, who had lost only once in their last nine games.

Keçiörengücü suffered multiple setbacks early in the game, with two players, Orhan Nahirci and Gökem Bitin, sustaining injuries in the first half. They were replaced by Uğur Kaan Yildiz and Mame Biram Diouf but despite this, Francis Ezeh’s 39th-minute goal gave the home team the lead at halftime.

The second half saw Keçiörengücü make another substitution, while Erokspor pushed to equalize. Their efforts paid off in the 73rd minute when Benhur Keser scored a penalty to level the scoreline. However, Mame Biram Diouf restored Keçiörengücü’s lead in the 85th minute.

Just as Keçiörengücü seemed poised to secure a win, Erokspor staged a dramatic comeback. Benhur Keser turned provider, setting up Junior Fernandes to score in the final minutes of the game, earning Erokspor a hard-fought draw.

The 2-2 draw left Keçiörengücü in sixth place with 42 points from 28 games, while Erokspor moved up to 12th place with 37 points from the same number of games.

Francis Ezeh will aim to maintain his impressive form as Keçiörengücü pursue promotion to the Turkish Super Lig with 10 games remaining. With the race still open, Keçiörengücü will be eager to capitalize on their good form and climb higher up the table.
